Noise Rock Pioneers UNSANE make their way under in September 2023!

NY based pioneers of American Noise Rock “UNSANE” will make their way down under to Australia in September 2023.

Forming in 1988, the trio created a relentless brand of Rock with their well versed influences of the Hardcore, Punk and Metal genres.

Unsane quickly became a mainstay in New York noise & heavy music scenes. Originating from New York scumrock scene, while still pushing their unique “extreme” sound, Unsane’s relentless, non-stop touring established them as an important part of the Lower East side New York City music scene of the late 80s and still to this present day.

As a power trio, UNSANE relied upon a hammering, power-press rhythm section, a searing Telecaster howl, and distorted vocals that resembled a chainsaw cutting a steel beam.
The early days of UNSANE began in the late ’80s under the original incarnation of the band — Chris Spencer, Pete Shore (bass), and Charles Ondras (drums) — crawled larvally out of the practice space in 1989 and began playing New York’s seediest haunts. It was these graveyard slots at clubs like CBGB’s where the band developed and honed their trademark sound and delivered the goods with due intensity and volume.

Present line up; Chris Spencer (vocals, guitar), Dave Curran (bass, vocals) and Vincent Signorelli (drums) are responsible for well over two decades of aural ruination, with no intention of letting up anytime soon. With reissues of all albums in the bag, the band will be touring the Australia and New Zealand in Spring 2023.

In collaboration with Australia’s own Disdain Records (https://www.disdain-records.com), an extremely limited edition special colour vinyl version for each will be manufactured for Australia only and made available exclusively at these shows and via Disdain mail-order outlets only.

EXHUMED Soak Australia with their new album TO THE DEAD in JULY 2023

EXHUMED return from the depths in July to soak Australia with their new album TO THE DEAD!

The San Jose pioneers of blood-soaked gore metal will bring the dripping chainsaws and drills down the east coast of Australia for the first time in 20 years to the wastelands of Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne and Frankston.

To the Dead is the culmination of decades upon decades of nightmarish riffs, obliterating blast beats, and hellish screams from the very depths the band crawled out from!
To The Dead is a destination,” EXHUMED mastermind Matt Harvey says. “A rotting world populated by the grotesquely twisted truths of our waking world and the decaying fallout of our most deranged ambitions. But it’s also a title that evokes a celebration of, and an invitation into the gore-soaked world of EXHUMED.”

The very celebration of EXHUMED’s history is ever-present on this album. “We’ve expanded the writing team on the record to include former members Mike Beams, Leon del Muerte, Matt Widener and Bud Burke in an effort to celebrate the band’s history – at this point decades of it – and I think the resulting record is an excellent testament to the surprising longevity of Gore Fucking Metal!” Harvey says.
So please, accept the band’s humble invitation and sink six feet down to their level. EXHUMED can’t wait for you to get a whiff of what they’ve cooked up – this will be the most fun you’ve ever had being disgusted!

EXHUMED Are:
Matt Harvey – Guitar, Vocals
Ross Sewage – Bass, Vocals
Mike Hamilton – Drums
Sebastian Phillips – Guitar

Jungle Rot AUS & NZ Tour 2023 POSTPONED!

Jungle Rot Australian/New Zealand Tour 2023 POSTPONED

Jungle Rot and Your Mate Bookings have decided to put the debut tour of Australia and New Zealand planned for April 2023 on hold for the moment.

The sheer volume of tours, saturation in the market, the costs of flights and lack of funds the community has to spend on such a tour are the ultimate reasons for this tour to be put on hold for the time being.

JUNGLE ROT will return at a later date – we all need to be clear on that.

The flights were booked, the logistics and artwork are in place including the incredible support bands selected to make this tour one to remember.

We will be refunding all tickets immediately so there is no need to contact us.

Nembutolik will be holding these dates and launching their own tour very soon.

We apologise we had to cancel this tour and we understand you were all excited; but the band deserves huge crowds and appropriate compensation for finally visiting Australia/New Zealand after 30 years and we are going to ensure this happens as soon as possible – stay tuned for another announcement soon in regards to this.

WE WILL NOT STAY DEAD!
