Melbournes Skate Punk extraordinaires BIFF are heading back to Bendigo Hotel this Friday 12th of March with pals Polite Skeletons and The Maggie Pills.
As one of the newest additions to the Melbourne punk scene, BIFF have quickly made a name for themselves with their energetic live shows and high-octane songs, which combine the attitude and tempo of classic skate punk with psychedelic guitar playing and lo-fi garage production. The music carries a certain nostalgic quality for many listeners, who are often quick to mention fond memories of playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater on their old PlayStation.
With influences ranging from Descendents and Misfits to Thee Oh Sees and Black Sabbath, BIFF combine this deadly concoction of influences to create collections of punk “bangers” – no nonsense tunes that pack a punch and leave you wanting more.
